2019 StartUpAfrica Entrepreneurship Conference

We warmly welcome you to the 2019 StartUpAfrica’s Africa Entrepreneurship Conference. This year’s theme, “Partnership for Entrepreneurial Success” follows on last year’s theme of, “Positioning your Small Business to Access Capital, Start, Grow, and Scale”, aims at creating meaning partnerships that can help with promoting entrepreneurship, to stimulate services for startups and SMEs while sharing best practices on a number of issues identified as needs by the 2018 participants that can help them compete for business opportunities.

Drawing on StartUpAfrica’s experience of engaging the Diaspora Africans and friends of Africa for 15 years to make an impact in Africa through business, enterprise and community projects, the StartUpAfrica’s Entrepreneurship Conference has emerged as one of the leading global platforms for engaging business, community and government leaders, academics, thought leaders and students and investors and those passionate about business opportunities in Africa and USA.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

If you purchase a student ticket, you’ll need to show your student ID. To qualify for the student ticket rate, you must be ages 18-21.

Is there parking for the event?

Parking is available at the Howard Banneker lot on Georgia Ave, next to the McDonalds

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, but you’ll need to notify us in writing at least three days before the event.
